Grandma Barbara came to help us move. Between lots of packing (some panic dump and tape packing techniques) and cleaning (the floor of death, but we left no corner uncleaned because we wanted our steep deposit back)  ... we got to eat out a lot. Our favorite meals our were outdoors... Herbert's with their playground, and Longhorn Cafe with its sandbox.

 

 

New a traditions- Half Birthday Fun

Sophie started a new tradition in our family. She was insistent... Celebrating half birthdays with half a cake! 😂😂 We happily went along with her fun idea, because who doesn't like another reason for a celebration?

 

Moving Day

Every time we move, we promise ourselves, this is the last time! It's so much work!! Barbara came and helped out so much with cleaning, kid care and meals out.

Julianna went to Dubai to see Whitney. We watched Gavin so she could go. He thought everything belonged to him. So the week proved more challenging than I had anticipated. But we all survived! And I was so glad I could do simething to help her. There's s little I can actually do and so much I want to do!!

Sophie's 3D art was selected to be displayed in a downtown art center! They had a special reception for the kids and the families. Very cool!
