The Birthday Love started with a surprise party with Megan and Sara. We met to discuss a book and they brought this cute cake they made with water melon and pineapple
Whitney and Julianna surprised me by sending flowers. They both live overseas, so it took some coordination on their part to arrange the flowers.
I went to lunch with my Kingwood friends, and Jill and Katy brought me flowers. We met at Gringos and I shared the birthday love with Tara Hatt. Katy, Kayla, Miles and I went out the next week to BJ's so we could have more time together. I had a separate birthday lunch with Jessica Bates, Rebecca Anderson and Danielle Ashby. We went to The Kitchen, where I discovered my favorite Carrot Cake in the whole world. I met Jessica Hansen at the kitchen a few days later for more cake!

Since the boys had a father and son camp out, I invited some friends over to help me celebrate! We had so much good food! I picked up yummy salads from Sam's Club and made sourdough bread. Sara made veggie rolls with peanut sauce, Star brought fruit and Makana made a flourless chocolate cake. I wanted to tests two receipts against each other, so I made another version of flourless cake and we taste tested them against each other. Makana also made a bonus gluten free lemon cake. Everything was amazing, and I couldn't say which dessert won.
Sara brought her gel nail supplies, so we did nails and then we went hot tubbing. Such a great night with inspiring women.
I celebrated with my family on Sunday with dinner and Strawberry Shortcake, game night and a family walk. My actual birthday was busy with baseball games. But I did get in an early morning birthday spin class and the whole class sang me happy birthday.
Happy Birthday to me!
