Preston is headed to Tonga! It was hard to send him alone, half way around the world! I got a gate pass so I could accompany him through security and wait at the gate with him until his plane arrived. When we got to the airport, the skies were clear. By the time we got through security and back to the gate, a huge storm rolled in, delaying planes from departing and landing. Preston's flight was delayed. We had followed the advice of HXP and he was arriving to LAX earlier than needed. But as his flight continued to get pushed back I started to worry. Missing meeting up with his group in LA was going to cause a lot of difficult to resolve complications. And he would surely miss several days of his trip. We saw another girl with the same HXP t-shirt as Preston, turns out, she is a nice of one of our Kingwood friend's Kimberly Ripa. She wasn't going to Tonga, but she was going to LAX. I waited at the airport with the kids for hours, fed them dinner, and finally got word that their flight was preparing to take off, just in the nick of time... Phew!! Both kids made it to LA and met up with their groups. Prayers were answered.
