Visiting Baker Hughes

We went to Houston to pick up some of Doug's things he needed from the Condo, and to get it ready for another renter.  While there, Doug needed somethings from his office too.  The kids LOVED seeing where Dad works.  Sophia was especially excited when she saw that Doug has his name on the door and two screens for his computer. Nothing like seeing your kids reaction to your work environment to make you feel important!

It has taken Ethan a lot of patience and persistence, but he has successful finger trained his parakeets.  he did not give up!  He researched how to do it, and practiced a lot... and finally... success!!!

 

Denise's Boat

Before we moved, Denise invited us out on her boat a couple of times.  We have never enjoyed Canyon Lake so much!  Doug even took time off one time to join us.  We are grateful for the beautiful land we live in, and for kind and generous neighbors and friends.

River City Produce

One of the things I miss most about NB is River City Produce, in San Antonio.  I don't go often, but when I so, I have a hard time holding back from all the great deals on produce! We made strawberry jam, 40 pounds of bananas went into bread and cookies... fruit for the eating... guacamole... such healthy yumminess... we are blessed with abundance...
