Ponderosa and All-Stars

Sophie made it to Ponderosa!  She swam freestyle.

She made it to All Stars in her backstroke. She ended up with a 1st place win at finals!  Wahoo Sophie! Picture with our friend Jade.

Girls Lunch

Asian City, a hibachi grill was the location of choice for the girls.  We had promised them a girls date back in March when we had to reschedule our dinner from the Women's Broadcast.  Good think Kayla and Sophie and Katy and I are such good friends.  It was a fun afternoon followed up with Frozen Yogurt.

Twilight Camp

Doug volunteered to help at Twilight Camp. 

 Sophie went as a sibling. We thought we were signing Porter up as a volunteer, but turns out his age group ended up participating as siblings too.  Still fun for everyone.

Doug went up and helped each night after work. Porter went as a helper each day, but ended up getting to do all the stations as a sibling.  Sophie went as a participant as well.  Everyone enjoyed it.  I had to pick up big kids early each night for various reasons... young mens, piano, gymnastics... we are a busy family... and it's followed us into the summer...

Ice Cream Social Awards Night

Kids brought home lots of awards!  Sophie... High Point overall for Girls... Porter High Point overall for his age group ( he tied Sophie in # of points, but Owen was undefeated.)  Preston got high point overall for his age group.  He also got his 5 year award for 5 years on the team. Ethan got the golden toilet paper award, because he always had to pee between freestyle and backstroke.  A fun night.  Preston opted to stay at Twilight Camp, but we picked up all of his stuff.  All the kids had great improvements in their times and swam their strokes legal.  Can't ask for better than that!
