The Adventures of Huck Finn

The 5th grade performed The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn for their 5th grade program.  Porter played the part of Doc Roberts.  He did a great job!

Luke- October

Lake Livingston

We went up to Lake Livingston in the afternoon so Porter could pass off his last requirements to get his Arrow Of Light.  We had a great afternoon and evening.  We ate dinner over the camp-fire.  Enjoyed beautiful weather in the outdoors.  Then we went over to the campground dance, where we boogied down.  We finished with a hay ride and slushes. Good times.

Love Zoo Boo! Ethan couldn't wait to "see zoo mamimals." We spent forever just watching the elephants- 2 babies 2 mamas an auntie and the daddy. Then we had to find the tigers "roar." He was fascinated by the flamingos. It was
so fun to take him.

He's been talking about wanting to go to the zoo since he went with granny and gramps. And he was there to see animals- my other kids like to play at the zoo- but Ethan wanted to watch the animals!

Ethan was so proud of his pumpkin. He painted it and carried it around all day!

God is watching over us

Our car has been shaking for a couple of weeks. The faster we drive - the greater the shake. Lucky me my husband wanted to take it in to get it checked out... Lucky me I didn't procrastinate being without a car for an entire day any longer then I already did.

The picture shows the crack in the tire. The other one was starting to crack. I asked the car place how long I had until the tire blew... A day? A week? It was caused by an alignment prob.got an education on tire safety today!

I am so grateful for the Lord's protecting care!
