The company was fun. The food was fun. And I thought I was a Sara Evan's fan... but we didn't sign up for a Christmas concert, and that's what it was... would have preferred hearing her belt out more of her classics. Lessons learned!

Madrigal Competition in San Antonio

The Chamber Choir practiced all year for this competition, and they did an amazing job! I was so proud of him, and enjoyed every beautiful minute of the music.  Before their competition, they got to perform in one of the cathedrals at the missions, the acoustics were amazing. When they finished late at night, Preston and I headed out for Dallas, so Preston could compete in a Water Polo competition with his club team.

We made a little detour in New Braunfels to eat at Gruene River Grill

It was a crazy, late night, and his fellow choir member and water polo team member made the same journey. Even though we both took different detours on the way from San Antonio to Dallas, we pulled into the hotel at almost the same time.
