Ethan is a bird whisperer. When the mother of the baby bird rejected it's baby the first time, and the baby bird died, Ethan vowed to now allow that to happen again. He purchased the supplies needed to feed a baby, and the next time she rejected one of her babies, he was prepared. He fed hand fed the bird every two hours, setting his alarm at night, as to not miss a feeding. He skipped the Lion King so he could feed the bird. When we travelled to New York and Canada, he asked Sister McDown to take over the feedings while we were gone.
