Women's Broadcast and Logan Learns to Crawl! 7 1/2 months

 

We went out to Jason's Deli for dinner before the broadcast, dinner is in keeping with tradition. 

 

At the session, we put Logan down and look what he did! He started crawling! It was a miracle, and so amazing to observe him master the skill. The girls was in awe to watch his cuteness.

Stuffed Animal Mania

I found this picture on my phone.  Preston and Jackson love to play with stuffed animals.  Preston always takes a stash over to Jackson's house.  He loves his Pokémon stuffed animals, the younger boys got a few for their birthdays in an effort to cut down on the fighting (the little boys wanting Preston's special toys.)

He's not your only sunshine..

We realized that the baby loves the song, "You are my Sunshine." I mean really loves it, deep joyful elated baby smiles with sparkly eyes each time I sing it to him.

As I sang it to Logan this morning, Preston pipes up from his spot on the couch, "he's not your only sunshine." I laughed and said, "you're right!" And started singing the song to Preston, he laughed. Then I sang it to Ethan. When I finished, Preston piped up again, "I think you should change the word."

So I sang, "You are my sunshine, my loving sunshine." Preston was finally content.

Cross-Country Awesomeness

Porter ran in his first cross country race of the season. He was amazing! 13:24, a PR for the two mile. Out of twenty teams, his team took 2nd overall. He came in 17th (2nd for Woodridge). There were 208 runners in his age division. So fun to watch! Oh yeah, and he ran @ 11:30 am in the blazing heat!!
