Otter Summer League

We joined the otters so we could swim with kids from our schools, neighborhood and church. It's a small team that practices outdoors and it feels a lot like the frogs. Makana was trying to talk me into being volunteer coordinator. She had some persuasive points and I expressed interest, next thing I knew, I'd been voted in!

Bundt Cake Fundraiser

Sophie needed a little more money to pay for her travel expenses to and from Newark for the HXP trip. She sold bundt cakes. We stayed up all night, but we did it! We made over 100 cakes and she made over $800. People were generous and kind, and she worked so hard.

Happy Father's Day

The Learning Zoo

Ethan was a zoo keeper for a week at a camp at the Learning Zoo. On the last day the whole family got to go and visit the zoo.

Backstreet Boys Concert

I went to the concert to be social, but it turned out to be a good concert. The band talked about their families a lot, and they were just so so grateful and touched that so many people had come out to see them perform and still liked their music. I didn't listen to them much... give me some New Kids on the Block or Debbie Gibson and Tiffany and it would have really brought me back. But I was glad I went. The Woodlands Pavillion is a nice venue too. Ourdoors.
