Tennis, pickleball and hot tub

 One night we went to the tennis courts in Benders and the kids had a fantastic time playing pickleball and tennis. Savannah led the kids in some fun games she learned in her tennis lessons. We played until the security guard kicked us off. Cute Bowen loved the hot tub. He used it every night, and asked multiple times during the day if we would be able to hot tub that night. We didn't disappoint him and he hot tub bed every night. Sometimes the kids joined him, and sometimes they chose to play games or work on their rock necklaces inside. 

Old Town Spring and Velvet Taco

 We enjoyed introducing the Neville's to one of our favorite taco places, Velvet Taco.  But since we know they love the Torchy's Queso, and we think it's better than Velvet Taco's, and since Torchy's was across the street, we picked up Queso and then went and enjoyed fun tacos at Velvet Taco.

Old Town Spring was so fun with cousins! We loved poking in and out of the shops. We saw shops we'd never visited before. There were lots of fun rock shops, and international shops. The Neville's bought lots of unique English treats at the British store to share with us. Logan loved the store that was all about dogs. And Bowen bought a red Cardinal stuffed animal bird at the All About Bird's shop. We also enjoyed the museum full of history and artifacts about Spring, TX.

No trip to Old Town Spring is complete without a fancy milk shake from Pops! They put a whole piece of cheesecake, pie or brownie, in whatever shake you pick.

We started off the day at Logan's baseball game. He played a great game and it was fun for him to feel supported by family.

Birthday Dinner at Lupe Tortilla

 Since Pam and I have birthdays close together, we thought it would be fun to introduce them to one of our favorite restaurants and call is a birthday dinner.

Hunting for Rocks with cousins

When Ethan and I were in Utah in December, Pam introduced us to the fun world of rock collecting. Since then Ethan has acquired a rock tumbler and we have the rock identifier app on my phone. He likes to go to the creek to collect rocks. He tumbles then and then identifies them. It was so fun to take Steve and Pan and their kids down to the creek. While there, the kids started hunting for rocks. Pam was just as into it as the kids. They found sone good ones and had fun later making jewelry out of their finds.

 

Logan's 3rd Grade Concert

The concert was a lot of fun! They sounded great. It was so fun to see Logan in action. Steve's family was able to attend, so that made it even more special.
