Ethan's Chickens

 The first round of eggs didn't hatch, but the lady from the Silkie chicken farm gave us another round of eggs and loaned us an incubator.  We got two chicks from that. One was a naked neck! Ethan and dad also started working on building a chicken coop.

and then we bought a few more babies...they lived in Ethan's closet...it was really cold outside... don't recommend...haha

Sheldon

 In the spring, Logan's class hatched some chicks in class. Since we are set up to house chickens now, I said Logan could have a couple of the chicks. He brought home, several, one of which the class had named Sheldon.

Fishing at Spring Creek Nature Reserve

 

The Nature Center had a free fishing morning. They provided everything we needed. The boys had a nice time, and one of them caught a turtle! Luckily the turtle was able to dislodge itself from the hook on its own.
