Crater of Diamonds State Park

 

High on Ethan's bucket list was a trip to Crater of Diamonds State Park to mine for Diamonds. While we didn't find any significant diamonds, we enjoyed a new experience and found a few tiny pieces of other gems that the guide helped us identify. A great way to start out trip! We stopped here on the way to Tennesee.

Learning how to make Sourdough

Makana gave me a starter and a lesson, and it's been so satisfying making my own sourdough bread!

 

Beach Vacay

The girls pitched a beach vacay trip via a well thought-out and well versed power point.  They wanted to go to Port A with Preston and Jackson, rent a VRBO. After discussing with the Coe's, without kids present, we agreed to their terms, but asked them to also look at going to Galveston. They ended up, without any prodding from us, just going to Galveston for the day. They had a terrific time, and I as much more comfortable with the distance and length of stay.

So proud of Preston and the work he does for this organization! He is the president. They meet almost every week and fix the bikes. He coordinates with different organizations for deliveries. They are doing great things.
