I read a really inspiring book describing the Konmari method of decluttering.  You start by piling all of your clothes and accessories into one room.  Then you go through the items one at a time, asking yourself with each item, if it brings you joy.  If the answer is no, you thank it for serving you well, and put it in the donate pile.  It was very liberating and freeing to be so ruthless as I went through my possessions.  The idea that less is more, and just surround yourself with things you love is so powerful.  I now need to be much more selective about the things I bring into my closet.  If I don't love it, I need to leave it.  The idea then is to continue through your home, decluttering with the same spirit.  It's harder to do to other people's things.  And it's financially impractical to do it to everything, especially things you'd have to immediately replace.  But it put me in a great mindset to continue decluttering our home in preparation for our upcoming move.

This is how we roll, little Luke, standing on his head...

My new calling... I am still the Activity Day Leader. But now I am Luke's Sunbeam teacher too!  I miss teaching Ethan's class, but am enjoying teaching Luke.  Luke took the above picture, when he stole my phone during the lesson.  I learned the first day not to take my phone out in order to avoid the drama that ensues when I try to take it away from Luke.  No electronic scriptures, songs on my phone, or extra pictures for my Sunbeams... They are cute kids. I told Doug I would be willing to go into Primary.  I knew how the ward was struggling to staff Primary.  I have three kids in Primary, and with Logan, I was unable to sit though a whole class anyways. It didn't take long to get a calling in Primary after I mentioned it. I like the primary lessons... going back to basics strengthens my testimony.  I taught Ethan's class until the new year, then they gave me Luke's class.
