I don't know if my heart can take it!
Preston is in 4 year old pre-school.
How did he get so old?
First day of school, as I drove up, he told me "It's okay mom, you don't have to walk me in." He was quite insistent, until I laid it on the line...."I need a picture of you, so I am walking you in!" When we reached his door, he gave me a hug, and didn't look back. I tried to help him with his name tag, he put it back and asked his teacher to help him. I can tell when I'm not needed! He's ready to start growing up a little bit I guess!
We had a when he didn't want to get out of the car at the drop off, but when I pulled out to park and walk him in, he panicked, I think he thought we were leaving, and he wouldn't be going to school. He went right in.
On Fridays and Mondays he asks why he doesn't have school.
Sigh.... I can't even wrap my head around the idea that he could go to kindergarten next year. I sure love my little guy!

Ethan's first year has passed so quickly. It really has been a blur! I feel like a common theme on my blog is... time is passing too quickly! Our little tiger is a sweet, busy, happy little guy who likes regular naps and full nights of sleep to be healthy and cheerful. He makes everyone happy. It's fun to watch each of his siblings stop what they're doing to entertain Ethan or interact with him in some way when ever he comes their way. Being the fourth child, he has to be very patient as he gets hauled here, there and everywhere as we keep up with the other kids' busyness! Ethan is a special, special spirit. It warms my heart to be with him, to love him, and to take care of him. I love my baby!

Ethan loves to wave at people!
We caught him in action back in June.
He is also quite proficient at climbing stairs.
He mastered coming down the stairs in September.
He is a monkey. I am constantly finding him on top of step stools, squacking because he is stuck and can't get down. Another favorite spot is on top of the train table, again, stuck. He loves to unload drawers and cupboards. The other day I turned on the bathtub and turned about to get something, when I turned back around he had crawled into the bathrub, jammies and all- he was ready to take that bath! He is one busy baby!
